So now that I have officially relocated back to Taipei, I figured that since I already made the decision of moving back, I might as well make the best out of it. Life is long, and although I miss my friends, I am ready to put our friendship to the test. In a few years, if I do get a chance to go back to NY I will be able to pick it up right where I left off.
To come to think of it, Taipei IS moving faster than I remembered. Stores are changing, tailoring in a way that customers want. NET and Giordano no long sells low end sports wear, instead they turned to Zara city chic. Big success. I would never even consider walking in otherwise. Wholesale stores at Wu Fen Pu are able to distinguish their own markets and starts to identify themselves in categories. Split customers, I would say that's a success.
Although I am impressed with the fashion trends here, finding a job isn't exactly as easy as I thought. Today I see myself as a visitor, but tomorrow I will be a walker. I dislike being a jetsetter sometimes, because with everything I gain, there is always something I lose. It almost takes too long to realize what you have in front of you.
Hello, it's me.
